What is a CSA?

Community-Supported Agriculture, an idea first put into practice in the US by Booker T. Whatley, allows farmers to connect directly with consumers. At the start of each growing season CSA members provide financial commitment to the farmer in exchange for a weekly share of the harvest throughout the growing season.
